Staging Melanoma (8th Edition)

Melanoma is the most serious form of skin cancer, which, in an advanced stage, spreads to other parts of the body. Using an evidence-based approach, revisions to the AJCC melanoma staging system were made for the eighth edition to reflect the medical community’s improved understanding of this disease. Dr. Gershenwald will provide an overview of staging melanoma and discuss changes to the schematic in the eighth edition.
